My Superb has developed a rubbing sound whenever the steering wheel is turned - starts after car been used for 5 mins.

Any ideas?

Is the noise coming from the steering wheel itself?

If not (and the noise is like a groan) might be worthwhile checking the fluid level in your power steering. HTH

Yes, it comes from the wheel.

Mine seems to run out of assistance if I turn it too fast.
