Featured Replies

OK folks...

Lorna and i have just ordered her new car... A Fabia 1.4TDI

It's a lease car so chipping isnt an option, But does anyone know of a tuning box for them?

You can get one from http://www.tunit.co.uk - not cheap, but their stuff is good.

Cheap as chips they are. Had one fitted to my vRS for a 1000 miles. Then ECU light came on. Took it to the dealers (with it off) and dealer said their was a fault with the fuel temp sensor (were it plugs into). Just thought I'll let you know. They do work though :D

Currently on eBay at

WOW ! just looked at the link to tunit , If/When VAG do tractors, it can be tuned :)

I thought the resistor mod essentially meant that the MAF sensor is bypassed and a constant signal saying more air is going into the engine than actual is, is being fed to the ECU. This just means the ECU puts more diesel into the engine and improves BHP with the car running sootier.

However, I think I'd rather pay a little bit more and get a proper adjustable tuning box or remap, even if it does cost more, as it's less than the cost of a new engine ;)
