When I bought my vRS it was advertised as having side airbags, but I can find no sign that it really does.

Should they be there on a mk1 vRS?

If they exist I believe they would be mounted in the seats and I should see the airbag (SRS?) logo on the side of the seats. Is that right?

They were a £320 option for the Octavia vRS. If fitted, there will be a label towards the top the seat on the side facing the doors which says AIRBAG.
