Front Rubber Mats

Featured Replies

I have an issue with my original front rubber mats, especially on the driver side. They are all connected with the screws(?) that comes with them. (Attached to the floor) Now, I know that they should be popped onto the screws/***** but I really cant get them attached, which results in a alive rubber mat... (keeps sliding up under my pedals...) Does anyone have an idea on how to properly secure them?

add: hehe whats wrong with k n o b s? Isnt that a decent word?

IIRC there are two types of screws for the mats.

The ones I have you screw the "screw" into the carpet then line up the hole in the mat over it, put it through and turn the top to lock it.

No doubt you will have the other type lol

hehe perhaps. I'll try to get some pictures, but they are all screwed into the carpet... they holes in the mats just seems to small....

My mats are the loose ones and whilst Skoda suplied the plasti "bolts i have never used them , however they do slide a bit and i put a 12 inch square of that non slip stuff you get almost anywhere these day's , this cured it .By the way last year i did have a thread going about the drivers side splitting from the accelerator cut out almost through to the outside. Skoda did not want to know on this one.

Finally some pictures. I just cant get the screws to keep the mats still/in place. Is there another set of screws that are better? (Sorry for the bad pics)

19964.attach

19965.attach

I've got these as well. I find that mats ride up and come off.

Always had the the ones with little turn buckles on the top before, they were much better.

keeps happening with mine too. have placed a heavy rubber mat in the driver's foot well. that also slides but not as much.

Does anyone have the part number for the usable screws?
