Problem with some of those is that they are coaxial so the tweeter and woofer are mounte together which isnt ideal as all the high pitched sound will be by your feet, not up by the A pillars as designed. You really need a component set with seperate speakers.

Best to stick with component speakers.

The Infinity Reference 6010cs speakers are excellent value for money and sound great. Easy to fit because the tweeter fits in the stock tweeter location.

....thanks for this reply...ok heres another option im looking at,what do you think?...i dont want to mess around with the door cards,im told this is what you have to do to replace the standard tweeters...so,providing they are up to some sort of competence i will leave those in and fit just the 6.5's in the doors to handle the bass...

in the parcel shelf there are some nice co axial 5.25's lanzar again..

they seem dead good value for the spec,,

You will need to remove the door card for this anyway as you need to run cable to and from the crossovers. The standard speakers have a resister arangement that ensures the correct signal is supplied to the tweeter, as the componet speakers your planning dont, the crossover box will need to be wired up.

The standard tweeters arn't going to match the new setup and wont handle much power before they go pop.
