Ive just passed a new shape Octavia on the road. It was on a German plate but was right hand drive. Had to slow down and let him pass mw for another look!

It was that pale tan/brown colour weve seen already in the press shots etc.

My guess is he was on his wat to the NEC for the motorshow as I spotted him on the A5 passing Shrewsbury in the Brum direction.

Have to say after the initial excitement its not that nice. Looks good - more A3/A4 than golf/Bora which I think is a good thing. Rear light were very A4.

Main problem is the same as the current model - in non vRS trim it looks very plain. Ride was too high and no sporty fromt bumper etc.

I still think it would make a good vrs though. If/when they do one I think it will be nice.

Could also be a press demo car, ready for mags and tv shows.
