Aftermarket speaker buzzing and cutting out

Featured Replies

I've noticed that my after market front door speaker cuts out on occasion and buzzes most of the time. I dont really crank it up too hard - what's the likelihood it's a loose connection? blown?

Either loose connection or blown, as you say. Or, could be the positive and negative wires are on the wrong way round. Makes the world of difference believe it or no.

If not blown, if you are under driving it the magnets can go.
