I left my keys in the ignition and shut the door and my keys were locked in! is this normal?

I have got a fault code for sporadic locking could be this.

Also could this be linked to a lower door light not coming on, my mate recons i need a door switch?

I have done this before also. Think the car locks itself after a while if nothing happens.

Or maybe we both have the same problem, lol
