Where is the air con drain underneath the car ?

Featured Replies

I have a problem, see here: http://briskoda.net/forums/octavia-i/water-drivers-side-rear-footwell/105108/

My question is where is the air con drain underneath the car ?

Reading on the forum, Ive heard that the aircon drain can get blocked causing internal puddles, which I have.

Ive had the air con on as always and I'm not loosing water underneath the car as I have in the past.

Hopefully this is what is causing my problem, I have put it into ECON mode now so hopefully no water in the short term.

Think its in the middle of the car underneath the center just behind the engine bay.Thats where mine drips from i think.Have you tryed putting a hose pipe on the windscreen and seeing if you can see the leak.Mine was very obvious once you had someone with a hose and me on the inside.Your wet patch is on the drivers side by the doors i wouldnt think the drain is over that side.

I have tried pooring water over the window, but as its wet still in the back and not drying easily its hard to tell.

I will have to wait till the next rainy day to see if its rain causing the flooding.:thumbdwn:

Hi Multon,

I'm currently having the exact same issue you had regarding the air con leak?

Did you find out what was causing it?

Thanks,

Dan
