Alpine iDA-X001 and Octavia II Facia Adaptors

A couple of questions,

1) The Alpine iDA-X001, from previous posts i have seen red and blue illuminations, but the question is can the display and buttons be changed to a green illumination??

2) The majority of the adaptors out there seem to just have a large void below the HU and makes the dash apear a little odd (in my opinion) especially after you take out the stream stereo that fits so well. Does the large void look any better in person? Are there any other facia adaptors out there that incorporate a lid?
