Octy kw v1 any experience

Featured Replies

Do they do V1's for the octy i think i read somewhere that the dampers are not adjustable like the 2's and 3's, an i know how much people rave about the 3's, any idea how much the 1's would set me back people, cheers

I think they are just less than £700 i am thinking about a set for my 4x4 but cant find many people with them to comment either.

i thought the 3's were around that price, but no one ever mentions the 1's

KW V1 can be had for around £650 V3 £1k

The threes are about £1200 ish and are fully adjustable

I have the Weitec's on mine, these are made by KW. Jabba Sport - Motor Sport

These are identical to the KW varient 1's, apart from they use galvanised front strut legs apart from the KW's stainless steel - hence the lower price, once they're greased up it makes no difference anyway, so why pay the extra!!!

Mine were sub £500 from Jabbasport and are absolutely excellent! Who in reality is going to be faffing around changing the settings on the dampers all of the time??

Just had a look on there website (weitec) and they do one for my 4x4 aswell and a lot cheaper like you said about £530.

You must beware, as some companies claim to offer kits suitable for the Octavia - Eibach, Spax, Jamex etc. - stese are straight off a Golf mk.4! They will fit, but you'll be bouncing all the way down the road!!

If you really feel the need to spend hours playing with the adjusters get the KW v 3's, or save yourself £600-£700 quid and get the Weitec's!

1's are pointless.. buy 2's for about 650 or 3's (cos the dampers dont leak... 2's are koni based and thus fail with hard use)
