Hi guys just to let you know i got myself a red 02 plate octavia vrs today for 4400, 60,000 on the clock with a revo remap pushing 207 bhp will post up some pictures when i collect it on saturday.

Very confused and apologies if covered elsewhere but can't find it... looking to get a towbar fitted for caravan towing and an independent towbar company is warning about coding and about the rear emergency braking kicking in and not letting me reverse with the caravan in place. Another has said they can fit a towbar but I'd need to take it to a dealer to get it coded. I've contacted my local skoda dealer and they've quoted £1900 for a towbar to be fitted!! Hi wonder if anyone on here can confirm I have the right part number for front springs. PR code in boot is 2UA/L07 and from LLLparts diagrams I get 1K0411105AQ. No paint marks on broken one plus looks like 1x pink,1xorange,1xblue on good one. LLL parts say also marked with 1 x grey and 4x blue which I don't have unless they mean pink,orange,blue or grey blue blue blue blue? Again seems to be quite a few to choose from. Any help welcome Alasdair

DIY ABS warning Fix

Yesterday our Roomster started beeping and flashing the warning light about the ABS. My first thought was to replace the ABS sensors – they are around £7 each and seem to be easy enough to replace by removing the rear wheels. I could also give the connections a bit of a clean at the same time. What are my chances chances of fixing the issue within 45 minutes of DIY work? I don’t have any diagnostic tools, but if this is a common fault with an easy fix it would be great to know what other peo

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module.
