Does anyone know if you can buy the colour that vrs alloys are sprayed with,is it a special colour or off the shelf item?

when i popped to the Skoda garage in Milton Keynes i was told that its very very difficult to match the alloy colour.

Very nice chap in the service dept recommended enamel from a model shop. went and found small pots of paint and took them outside and matched to car

Its not perfect but on a very small area but a blind man would be glad to see it. and the paint cost £1
