I'm just thinking it would be nice to have a vrs steering wheel, I used to like the feel of it, it was just the right thickness and the leather feel was also nice.

Does anyone know if it's an expensive job to have my old elegance wheel taken off and a vrs wheel fitted?

There is a vRS steering wheel on eBay at the moment;

and a new airbag too;

the airbag is the expensive bit, as you can see, £180 and then theres the fitting, which might be a bit tricky doing yourself, as you have to de-activate the air bag etc. i also wanted one but have decided against it due to the air-bag cost. :(

wasn't sure if i'd need a new airbag or not, guess I do. Think I'll give it a miss.

I own a Skoda Octavia I, on witch I would like to mount a new steering wheel from Golf V or Skoda Octavia II.

Can anyone tell me if such swap could be possible? Will I be able to connect the new airbag?

Ideally if someone has electrical diagram of airbags for both cases.
