Hi guys,please let someone be able to help me!!I have an Octavia Mk1 on a Y plate and it is the 2.0i ambiente model.Lovely car to drive.....when its working properly.

Basically,the EMS light came on and I lost a load of power,so I took it to the garage to get it checked.They changed the Air Flow Sensors,Lemda Sensors,Plugs,HT Leads.

Now,I picked it up and drove it home and all seemed well.

Two days later when driving it home the light came back on so I went straight to the garage.When they plugged it in it said lean mixture on bank 1. Turned the light off and all seemed well,then the next day it came back on.

Apparentlly when the light comes on the lamda is not switching the fuel mixture properly,but they don't know why because all of the parts are working just fine.

Can anyone suggest anything else it might be???

might need an engine ecu update, that fault would suggest lambda probe to me but if its had one??
