I had my front bumper painted 2 days ago and it doesnt match the exsiting paint. I was going to polish the car to see if it helps but was wondering how long do I have to wait before I can polish the fresh paint?? :confused:

I wouldn't polish it just yet.

Give it another 1-2 weeks.

Presumebly, you had it done at a garage. If it doesn't match take it back & ask them it match it up correctly.

Well Im going back tomorrow as they have made a mess with the interior. See the pics in my previous thread!!

The paint looks nearly the same in the pic but to the eye it looks different and everyone has said the same.

Actually its silver from your sig so thatll have a clear coat so no amount of polishing will help here. Silver is a bugger to get a good match from I believe though.

The front bumper which was painted looks flat compared to the side panel. With a torch you can the metalic in the existing paint and the bumper is nowhere near the same and is very flat!

Id throw it back at them then until youre happy. Fools!
