mpg a bit poor

Hi all, been away for a while as had sky fitted and no net.

My question is this, i have an induction kit fitted ( pipercross viper from my rover 1.4 ) and the mpg is fairly poor, was wondering if i fitted a oil breather filter to the pipe that might sort it out,, cheers people.
