Hi just did a scan on my VAG COM v3.01

Came up with this

Address 09

Controller 6Q1 937 049 D

Component 0000 BN-SG. 1S34

Coding 25738

Shop#. WSC 13765

1 Fault Found:

01598 - Drive Battery Voltage

07-00 Signal too Low.

I have a dragon tuning box fitted, would this cause it?

Nah - Sounds to me like the car may have failed to start on the button like it usually does and a sensor somewhere thought it was getting lower voltage than usual. I would just clear it if the car is running ok.

The other day I did the "cage" (application of silicon grease to electrical connections) mod on the MAF and a couple of other sensors, that could be throwing it off?

Yah the cars running fine.

Often see that code when the car has had a flat battery.

Cleared it and scanned again

Came up with the same but this time with "Intermittent" at the end....

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.
