Some people have far too much time on there hands to think of things like this, lol.

But have to admit, it actually looks good!

Cool. When you going to make it then?

haha i have no idea. just bored this evening everyoes either working or on holiday still!! :(

i aint got a clue how much it would cost! i guess i'd need 2 rear ends of a fabia :)

Could you not use just one rear end, and just blank it off with a netal sheet or something!

I think it would look better to have a clean chop through at the bulkhead and have the dashboard back as a rolling trailer, with the rear beam being the only axle. I can think of a few issues to get around though.

1) Making the trailer "braked" - Guess something can be bulit into the hitch

2) Weight? Would it be too much for another fabia to pull?

3) How much of the electrics would you keep? I'd be tempted to ditch all of the main electrics, including the dash, and just keep little touches like roof lights, rear lights, door lights - these could be wired into the trailer power quite easily.

4) What would you put into the trailer? In theory you could have front and rear seats.....

Enough thinking about it, I'm off to find a front end wrecked fabia tomorrow. :o

your not!!:eek::o

i wanted to play! haha. no no it would just be the rear lights and the lights that face the front would be light up in white so the reversing lights facing the front would be on and the rear ones would be the same as the rear? get what im saying?

Does look good with two ends, but think it would look just as good with only one, and be half the price to make!

Thats sounds even worse to make, I was thinking along the lines of the below, but with fabias obviously.

or have no roof and just have a fabia front end with the back end but no roof... if you get that concept! but shortened to just be a flat trailer?

507.jpgthats pretty cool tho! its a portable bar!

Doing that with a fabia would be cool, especially a vRS. Plenty of front end wrecked ones out there - Would just need one with a decent base of A pillar back. :) Wouldn't need a massive amount of fabrication to achieve it. :)

*starts a savings account* :)

Front end written off vRS could be found for £1000. :) Then it's applying yourself to stripping down the front end entirely, including inner wings, subframe, all running gear basically. Smooth off around the bulkhead, and fit the tow hitch, probably having to weld into and through the bulkhead for extra strength. Would be fun if someone had the time. Money is perhaps less of an issue. I reckon for £4k you could build a fabia vRS trailer. :D

on the dash i could hack out the speedo bit and stick a nice lcd tv there instead! and turn the front passenter seat to face the other way!

There was a 306 car and a half in largs...."scotland" a couple of years back now dont no if the lads still got it.

personaly i think its pointless and ran out of fasion when big kits did but.......

Fill it full of subs, boom boom

Think I would just go for the full on tractor trailer!
