AG Ultra Deep Shine

Featured Replies

Right all you polishing gurus. Did the Furby with the titled product a couple of weeks ago and am quite pleased the finish. However, I washed the car today and I noticed that I must have been a little too enthusiastic with the polish and a I have some light stains from it on the black plastic bumper inserts. What would be the best way of removing these stains. I've been told that WD40 will do the trick, but before I try that, I would prefer to get your expert knowledge.

AG Bumpercare gel always worked for me in the past!

Thank you Sir, a trip to the motorist shop is in order then.

Have had a bottle of this stuff standing a while, just need a full empty day or two to wash etc. Looks like spending some time with masking tape will be a good idea too.

Do your bumpers first, Then if you do get polish/wax on the vinyl/textured inserts it'll easily wipe off without marking.

if you have a jar of peanut butter in the cupboard this works very well at getting polish residue off plastic trim too:thumbup:...yes that is a serious suggestion!

Daft as it sounds, I've used olive oil in the past...

Smooth not crunchy!

i usually get away with a it of saliva on my finger and rub it. if that doesnt work then a light bit of back to black or AG tyre spray stuff.

Will second the peanut butter ......just use a nail brush or similar to put it on and then wash off......it really does work very well

have also done the peanut butter trick.

Cheers
