Featured Replies

Hi , i've just swapped my fabia for an octavia vrs which i pick up in a week :) but i'm not sure if it has front fogs it says it has on the internet spec but looking at the pics i can't see any. can anyone tell me if they do !! sorry for being dim

They're integrated in the headlamps.

Nice one cheers:thumbup:

yeah they are the domed units furthest toward the outside edge of each unit

And yes they do still work properly as foglights (short range, but very flat beam with no "bounce back" dazzle in fog.

How many Octavia's have that? Is it just the RS, or do other models like Ambiente, Elegance etc have them?

And in case you cannot find the switch, it's also integrated into the lights switch. Pull once for front fogs and again for rear fogs. This will only work if the lights are on either the first position (sides) or the 2nd (dipped/normal).

Certainly the Elegance, L&K and vRS; not sure about the Ambiante, but pretty sure they weren't standard on the Classic (chromed domes instead of glassy eyeballs).

I'm sure my mum and dad's ambiente has fog lights, so it's nearly all the range that has them.
