Hi people,

I'm the proud owner of a new Octavia VRS wagon or estate as you know them. Great little car, very quick.

Trouble is the cheap company I work for won't spring for 95 RON fuel, so I have been running it on lowly 91 RON fuel.

Will this hurt it?

It's got a 2 litre Audi turbo motor in it, 6 speed box, 19" alloys, SAT NAV etc. It is supposed to have a CD stacker, but dealer says there are issues with these and satnav and are going to supply a 80 Gig Ipod instead.

Can anyone shed some light on these 2 issues.

Skoda have not been sold in this country for many many years. I think the last ones we saw were 3 cylinder 2 stroke monstrosities way back in the '60s

Welcome :)

Hello and Welcome to Briskoda :D

Welcome.

I suspect the ecu is adaptive so will soon get used to running on 91 RON fuel. :) Our standard unleaded over here is 95, but it's recommended for performance to use 98 or 100 ron "super"

91 ron won't hurt your car, but it will probably not be a proper 200hp compared to what it would have been rated to running on normal fuel in Europe.

Welcome - I have answered in your other post.

hi and welcome

Hiya.

On another tack from your OP, I think a 3-cylinder 2-stroke was probably either a Wartburg or a DKW, not a Skoda.
