Few Vrs Questions

Well i'm in the middle of replacing my engine which is a nightmare of a job as the new engine had the wiring loom cut to take out the engine easily so had to take the wiring loom off my engine before removal - lots of tight places:eek:

Anyway has anyone had any experience with refilling the air con - is it best to go to dealer etc etc

Also i just wanna get some feed back of what everyones opinion is on oil for the engine whats everyone using any recomendations, I already know about the spec thats recomended but that didn't do any favours on the last engine.

Also is there anyone taking of the sump after so many miles to clean the pick up pipe??? My engine blocked even with good servicing and I know 3 engines from the vw range with same problem.

When mine did it the skoda ealer said never heard of that before, was chatting to the head mechanic months later he said i've had two cars do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone heard of this?
