After 16months, I figured it was about time.

Passenger side, I had started the drivers side before deciding to take photo's.

And this is what was lifted out,

Hoping to get an extra 5mph out of the car now.

It gotta to be a couple kilo's lighter.:D

Lovely :)

I need to do mine!

Is that with a wet vac?

I really want to do this to mine...

Oooh, there is a VAX in the house here somewhere. Nice to know it would work wonders. I might even try it on my boot carpet which is also not looking it's best right now..... Job for this weekend when it's dry. :)

Spray the mats with some carpet/upholstery shampoo, allow to soak and rinse with a pressure washer on a wide spray setting a good few feet away until the run off is clear.

Works a treat for me.

Thats some amount of muck Mike.

Wonder how much will come out of mine !!

I thought about having a go on mine with my pressure washer and some detergent. Then hanging up on washing line.

Trouble is that they begin to wear thin at the point your heel digs in.

I thought that a square piece of that industrial aluminium with the grippy bits on would look slick, set into the mat with evo stick. You would have to 'shave' the carpet down first.

Very sad, but a good idea??
