Replacing Battery Fabia VRS

Hi

After having problems with random warning lights and alarms going off the skoda dealer has informed me i need a new battery or they could try and sort the old one out ,now rather than waste money on something that might not work i have ordered a new battery. But the question is after removing the clip on top of the battery box is it just a case of undoing the nuts and lifting the old battery out or is there more to it.Sorry if this is a bit of a numpty question but the garage wanted £119.00 to fit and supply a battery but i bought it from another skoda dealer for £68.00 so wanted to know if there is a bit more to it.

Mike:confused:

Lift the cover and disconnect the leads, negative terminal first (re-connect last). At the base of the battery between the battery and the headlamp is a battery clamp, this needs to be removed (13mm bolt). You should then be able to lift the battery out.
