Fax to email

Featured Replies

I've been asked by the boss to find us a suitable fax to email service. We've recently expanded to 2 sites but want to keep one dedicated fax line so customers send all orders to the one number and we can guarantee that things are picked up.

I've been looking on google, but has anyone got any experience of these and how much is it likely to cost us? We receive about 5 faxes a day and probably send 3 or 4.

I use one, but as I'm at a client's at the mo I can't get you the details. I'll have a look what it is tomorrow.

Could try eFax?

Could try eFax?

that is top of my list, but was wondering if anyone else had used it

If you are in the market for a new telephone system now or in the near future (VoIP between sites??) a lot of the newer offerings have Fax to email bult in which should be a lot more reliable than a net based service.

It's all about convergence these days you know. :)

I dare not mention VOIP to the boss. we had BT in to install a VOIP system about 2 months ago that is tied into our BT Versatility system. Biggest pile of crap we've ever had. The system constantly disconnects or drop calls and call quality is dreadful. We've even had dedicated broadband lines put in at both sites but nothing has worked and BT can't/won't do anything. :thumbdwn::mad:
