The main reason i got the michelin pilot sports (225/45/17) was because they were £350 for four fitted!

Well budget allowed for some Eagle F1s! They arrived today, so waiting until my Dunlops get a bit lower and I'll change em over!

I have eagle f1 gsd3 and they are excellent.Good choice

I much prefer Eagle F1 GSD3s to the previous Dunlop SP2000s which were very noisy.

Just wish I'd seen the 17s vrs alloys for sale before I bought them!

Guessing the 17s wouldn't handle that much different to the 16s though, they just suite the car a bit better.

Will report back when they're fitted!

Skoda Scala slave cylinder locaton for 1.0 model

Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.

My brand new superb has a software failure : Side assist unavailable Lane assist unavailable Front assist unavailable Travel assist unavailable Protective occupant unavailable Dynamic sign unavailable Dynamic cornering light unavailable it has only done10 miles and am told there is no fix as of yet and has been in the dealership since I picked it up 5 weeks ago. anyone else have this problem?

Neigbour with a Fabia Mk4 called me recently, his drivers door and the rear (right) passenger doors were partly open with what looked like a stainless steel rod jamming the two doors in their partly open/closed positions, to make a long story short, it was the door umbrella that apparently had shot out somehow or other and jammed the two doors, he had partially opened the back door to let his dog out I think and had let his own door partially open, or something like that. The fan for air conditioning and heater on my 2006 Octavia Mk2 L&K is not working. I have checked the fuses and they are OK. Does it have a relay that might have failed? I am hoping it is not the fan unit itself, as this seems to be peculiar to RHD models with climatronic and was discontinued by Skoda in 2022. (Part no. 1K2 820 021).

Have come to use the A/C for the first time this past week and noticed that pressing the button for the recirculating air doesn’t appear to work. Button presses but nothing happens it doesn’t light up and stays off Also through the media center doesn’t do anything, wondering if anyone has come across this before? Or is it a trip to Skoda?
