There has been a lot of posts regarding the creaking noises from the front/rear suspension of the Octavia II has anybody or dealer actually managed to find the problem and rectify it succesfully. If so what did they do? Thanks

My 56 reg 1.9 TDI had creaky front suspension, after reacing anti rol bar & bushes which did not sort, drop link replaced & problem sorted.

See the other thread for full details , but I had the suspension arms changed and that fixed it.
