  1. Mines like it too, you can buy a rubber strip that fits in the gap to stop it. Google "Dashboard sealing strip" and you'll find them, you can get them very cheaply from the likes of Temu & AliExpress (~£2-4) rather than the £10+ on Amazon.
  2. No, it's best to take it to a garage and get it set accurately, so you don't keep getting flashed or MOT failure later on.
  3. You might be in for a nasty surprise when your VED is due.
  4. Yes that's the estimated annual increase. So it gets very expensive very quickly. At the rate that the wicked witch has stated, it will soon make owning & driving a car a luxury that many can't afford.
  5. I don't really want to put a fly in the ointment, but just be aware that if you buy a new vRS you will be paying £625 pa VED for the next few years as a new vRS has a PIID value of over £40000. And that will be £625 & increase by an estimated £20 pa each year from years 2-6. If you don't want that and consider an EV in lieu, then be aware that this scumbag government will charge you £200 pa VED, plus the £20 increase from years 2-6, plus another ~£300 pa EV mileage tax for 10k miles.
  6. This one is different. It doesn't go away.
  7. It puts a small dialog box saying "Changing User Settings" every few starts. All my radio station presets go & colour setting vanish. It's a RPITA.
  8. So did I, at least twice, my car also keeps changing the colour settings of everything. I love the car, but I'm getting sick & tired of the software glitches, so may look elsewhere in the near future.
  9. You probably need to get your software updated.
  10. I've had that too, I've had my stored radio stations wiped, the clock has changed from the analogue one to digital one again, S-PIN entry twice (now stopped).
  11. The figure you have to worry about is P11D figure. P11D value = List price (inc. VAT) + Delivery charges + Factory options.
  12. This afternoon I was greeted with a screen asking for my S-PIN,which I duly did and it tried to do the set-up process, as if it was my first time in the car. I just cancelled it and it seemed to settle down and restored all of my settings. It's most weird
  13. I waited for the car to finish the download, then pressed the start button, went off and did shopping, then when I got back in it was showing the Skoda CONNECT screen, I just left it alone for a few minutes, I did NOT start the engine, I gave it time to settle which was about 10 mins. Then entered my email address & password and it was all good. Then I started the engine. No problems since, the only annoyance was having to enter all of my account details again to get my settings back!
  14. Make sure you know what your email address is and password as you're going to need it to restore your system as it will reset it back to as new again if you don't and that's all your radio settings and dashboard colours etc. 🙄
  15. Im not quite sure what this medium sized update is going to do, but it says it takes about 10 minutes to install and I have to login again.
