  1. Hello there, Vacuum circuit that operates the flaps are not intact, but I managed to fixed by sealing the top flap with some chemical, so it is recirculating the air all the time and Air Condition is working a lot better. I also came across with a few leakages in the radiator area, specially where hose are. I bought some pipe clamps and tightened them. A/C is performing well. I need to measure the temperature soon. As for the Relay issue. Frankly, I need to learn how to read the wiring diagram. I will try to find someone who can help me on that. I really appreciate your support and commitment to help others. I really interested to open another topics about car suspension soon. thank you again guys!!!
  2. I have few concerns on this topic. 1. when I bought the car I noticed that little lever was preventing the other one from moving by using a short wire at the bottom of the A/C console. here is the picture can you guys please tell me what those lever are for? 2.is there way you can share some pictures, document or guidance on how to unstick this button please? Frankly, even though the recirculation button is stuck that does not necessarily means that is currently working, Why? because I can feel and hear that A/C is sucking the air through the Bonnet (I do not know the name of the part) 3.Relay j229 gets extremely hot and it makes the fan kick in as soon as I start the car. ironically if I remove it everything work seemingly fine.
  3. ok, thank for your support. let me try to fix it now. The temperatures outside is 32 degrees Celsius and with the A/C blowing at full speed is between 25 and 26 degrees Celsius. as for the manual it only contains instructions and guidance about the car in general, in other words. it explains certain procedure how use the car more effectively, but nothing too deep. the technician told that Compressor is engaging very well. the front of the condenser has been cleaned really carefully I guess radiator fan is not problem it kicks in as soon as the A/C is turns on and it changes speed base on the heat.
  4. Moisesm 02 January 2017 - 00:33 I have a felicia 1.3 97. I live in Dr where is very hot the whole year long. I took my car to the technitian to check on the air conditioner. He checked the system and end up completing the refrigerant gas. The problem is when it is very hot outside it does not cool down well, but if it is raining or it is in the evening time it works a bit better. I noticed that it taking in the air from outside (bonnet)and not recirculating the air. The recirculation button is stock in. What should I do? Please advice Note: I read the skoda manual, so i can deal the AC more efectively

  6. Hi ricardo, I found someone who helped me solve the problem. We followed the steps above as you told, and now it is partially up and running. All the board it is working as ussual. Thank Now, i got a couple of issues more that i do not know if i should open a new topic 1. Radiator fan is running in high speed when I start the car. I checked others topic with this issue but, i am stuck. 2. Getting too hot when i used A/C 110 C
  7. i would like to upload some picture, so you can see how this is acting out. the fuse box picture is just make sure everything is laid out well.
  8. Hi, Man, I do not know where to start. around 200 dollars or 8000 pesos. and 35 kilometer per Galon which i think it is worthy. well, i checked the CTS it was given 119 ohms at 90 however when it stoped working i measured again it shows 285 OHMS (i do not understand) I took out the the dashboard everything looks good. i used good contact cleaner to remove any possible moisture. I reinstalled averything back. guess what happened. when i turned on the light in evening the dashboard was off completely. i meant the dashboard´s light did not turn on, on the top of that, the gas reader, and speedmeter shut down and temperature gauge was all the way to top. meaning the light is controling the hole dashboard. please take a look at the picture.
  9. Thank for the advices. Frankly, i need to buy or borrow a ohmmeter asap. I will follow you instruction, and let you know what happen. You are right about the carb expert i think I felt desperate at that time. I took it to more than one technitian and did not see good outcome.
  10. . I have a skoda felicia 1.3 97. I bought around two months ago, at the beginning was working fine, but now it is just giving some troubles like for example. the temperature gauge is not working properly. it works for day or a few hours and all of a sudden it drops. the arrow is indicating 70c, and just stops working. I changed the temperature sensor, but it did not help. looking for someone who knows how to work with this car it is like needle in haystack. I was basically forced to installed the LPG gas, because it was comsuming a lot of gasoline e.g. 13 km per 1 galon. I took it to a carburetor expert and He cleaned it and changed a few parts and that did not help either. i got a few more issue, but if you can help get this fixed. i wil really appreate it.. thank for your help
