Out of warranty next month, REMAP time
Semka replied to Such's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
My warranty expires next month too, looking a remaps as well........... Wouldn't say Shark is "steep"as you only get what you pay for, most reputable companies that i looked at charge about the same. -
Will golf mk5 rear springs fit FL Octy VRS
Semka posted a topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
As above: Will golf mk5 rear springs fit FL Octy VRS Got an -50mm H&R Cup kit on my Octy but the back end sits quite high for some reason, got a chance of getting some used Mk5 Golf coilovers with intention of using the rear springs and adjusters just to bring it down by another 10mm or so Cheers -
Hows the ride with just the rear springs fitted. Still want the back end to go lower on mine, was considering going for coil overs all round and selling the H&R kit but seems a waist.

Need to see what going on with work, hopefully will be able to come along

That is exactly how my FL sits, the front looks perfect but the back end is way too high. I'm now thinking of getting another spring kit and just using the rear springs to see if I can make it sit better.

I've got the same Issue with my FL. Had the H&R Comfort Cup Kit -45/50front and -45/50 rear. The rear sits higher than the front. I've done just over 1k Miles now hoping that they would settle considering I drive mostly on bumpy country lanes but no luck. Was thinking of adding some weight for a week see if that helps. Will be interesting to see if you find a solution.

Just gave a CitiGo curtesy car back yesterday after 24 hours. I was very impressed with how nice it was for a little car, and if I lived in a city or did very few miles I would most definitely buy one. I do a 60 mile round trip with fair bit of traffic on the way back, so the question I would ask myself: As much as I liked it, would I want to spend 1.5 to 2 hours of my life in one each day? The answer would be NO! I would say each to their own. Take it on long test drive...

They took the clock out but could not find anything wrong with it so I was left with £98 bill and no warranty claim . They say its clearly shouldn't be like this but as they cant find a physical fault with the cluster its a no go apparently . They did clean the dust out but left tonnes of lint behind and a fingerprint in the cluster !!!!!! Rang Skoda Customer Care and put a complaint in, should hear back within 48h so we shall see.............. Should have thought of that

I don't know to be honest, I thought it was just the cover on its own, will have to check! Thanks for the link! I'm sure it will be very helpful (did the seats on my fabia not looking forward to doing it again)!
