Both are near if not accurate, it's a while since I had to get one.

Alternator

Recon unit's are £130 for a Valeo exchange, or £180 for a Bosch

New unit from Skoda is around £400 iirc.

£33 FOR A cv JOINT??????? in ireland a GKN CV joint and boot kit costs me €117!!!!!

They do 2 of them, an OEM for about £80, and the cheap one which is branded GSP, you get the joint,boot,clips,washers,instructions and grease in the kit, I pay £28 for one cos I use the discount card for cabbies, GSF can't be beat, there are cheaper places, but the parts they supply are better quality, even the pattern ones, good news for you they have 3 outlets in Ireland

Power steering fluid, 1 litre £7.99 - VW.

Rip off when you consider you only use about 50-100ml. Even the VW workshop say they only open a new bottle every 3-4months.

Engine cowling (undertray, both front and rear bits) around £130 VW

EGR valve for Superb 130 BHP = £160 VW

Blaupunkt "Bass Speaker" - standard fit in superb and other vag cars
