Does MDF2 fit newer cars?

Hi all,

I understand Pre-FL Octavia could have the newer Bolero and Columbus fitted with CAN BUS upgrade, I am wondering it could go the other way? ie fitting a MDF2 to new cars such as FL Octavia, Yeti and Superb II?

from what ive been told i dont see why not alls you have to do is changed to wires around to make the cd changer work if you have one?

Thanks for that, may buy a cheap MFD2 and report back.

It will work, but there will be no information on Maxidot and no control via steering wheel/steering stalk buttons due to missing support for BAP protocol.
