Could anyone tell me which side of the inside dash- board end-panel conceals the fuses & how best to flip the cover.

On LHD cars it is on the drivers side - and gently use a flat bladed screwdriver. Your fingers might be OK too if your nails are not too short.

On RHD cars it is on the drivers side, open as above. There is a very small recess at the bottom of the panel for the screwdriver.

As has been said, drivers side, but you need to open the drivers door first.

And not being funny, but have you looked in the Handbook, as that lists all the details of which fuse does what?
