Wasn't put off by the negative comments for claims but we'll see what happens.

My renewal on the mongrel was quite reasonable. I am still hoping to secure discounts for my two drive recorders and RoSPA advanced driver training in the long run. I was a little disappointed in the drive recorder thing considering the effect it can have on the way a potential claim can swing. £15 discount on a £515 policy - but the drive recorders aren't on the VSIB approved list, yet the VSIB doesn't exist at the moment. Very confusing!
