Wheel Colour Change - Anyone Done a Superb

Featured Replies

Hi all, one of my Themisto's is suffering from water damage due to a small chip that wasn't treated in time. Instead of paying for a diamond cut and watching it happen time and time again I am thinking of powder coating all 4. My Superb is black magic and I quite like the idea of 'shadow chrome' / light anthracite. Anyone done this and care to share a photo or two :-)

I've got the same problem with 2 of my wheels (same wheels), its about £160 each to had them re-diamond cut and I can get all 4 wheels powder coated for the price of just 1! I like the idea of your colour combo, if you have it done be nice to see some pics

I am also interested in doing this to my Themisto alloys.

I managed to damage one of my wheels & the quotation to repair it was only a few pounds less than powder coating all 4!

I'm happy with the results, but I didn't have any special finish, just a normal silver (an Audi colour I think.).

No pix as yet, but a two year guarantee for the work was better than the 4-months they offered for a wheel repair/recutting & laquer coating.
