hi,im new to the is forum and im new to skoda. my mechnice has told me i need a turbo for my 130 skoda and im having problems getting in local breakers, this is prob a silly question but will a passat turbo fit straight into my car as all i hear is that they are the same car? many thanks for your help

If the engine code matches, the turbocharger will be the same. The engine code is (usually on VAG cars of this era) a 3 letter code printed on a label on the cambelt cover, also on the build sticker inside the boot, in the spare wheel well and also on the inside front cover of the service book.

For example, a 130/1.9 diesel Superb with manual transmission will have a code AWX.
