Aircon Help Needed

Featured Replies

I need some help guys! Just has the Aircon recharged and its still not working :(

Looked on the this faithful forum using the search... Recommended and tried the Econ + Recirc to get codes and it came up with 2cc on the Left and 00h on the right.

I've done a search on the codes and cant find what this means... Converting it to decimal is 716 which doesn't match on rosstech either.... Help?!

Sounds like your compressor has gone . Independent air con specialist your best root but I got mine replaced out of warranty for the same price as independent as I had full dealer history and goodwill from dealer and skoda

00716 - Air recirculation Flap Positioning Motor (V113)

Is that the only code?

Yup only code did the reset thing as well holding econ and recirc and turning ignition on. Can that be a diy hobby or is that a big job??

I know you said there are no more codes, but can you confirm you used the temp button to check for codes - see http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/209451-climatronic-self-diagnose-mode/#entry2475594

I'm assuming it is a 2007 or early 2008. It shouldn't be too difficult to replace, although it may take some time. The motor is bolted to the side of the intake flap housing which sits on top of the blower motor.

It goes to i0 when I turn the temp dial. Its 2007 buddy.

Just on a note when I press the recirc button I can hear the motor moving and the fan noise changes. Could it just be a sensor?

Appreciate your help Rwbaldwin
