10 years ownership-

(Aixlad was member on here, since new)

Car been garaged during his ownership.

Serviced it every 6 months at main skoda dealership.

Never missed a beat.

Have folder full of documents.

Very reliable and economical car

Averaging 40-50mpg

Used mainly for long motorway trips.

5th /6th gear mainly.

Hence why still on original clutch and turbo.

Back seats were never used under his ownership so literally still in prestine condition.

I've had the car since July 2014

Serviced twice since then by

MIDLAND VW (specialist)

Recently on 27.04.15

*NO ENGINE MODS ON CAR*

*NEVER BEEN MAPPED*

(Engine wise car is completely standard)

Didn't want to spoil this car by getting it mapped & giving it a power upgrade.

Car is in good condition.

Smooth and pulls well in all gears and enjoyable to drive.

**Factory Fitted Extras

Black magic pearl effect metallic paint

Cruise control

Electric stability control programme (ESP)

Fully HPI clear*

10 year old car so not brand new.

Odd marks here and there

Few stone chips on bonnet.

NO DENTS!

Rip on drivers side seat (common)

But comes with a customized seat cover which conseals it.

**No issues with car what so ever**

But things thought be highlighted

Front tyres good but may need changing in couple months.

Coilovers recently fitted so car is low.

Makes noise on full lock (common with AP coilovers)no issues tho.

Have standard suspension still and in good condition if coilovers not your thing.

Only Reason for selling is I've seen another car that I want thats had all the power upgrades & much more done to it.

**OVERVIEW**

Nice clean example

Well looked after

With No issues or faults.

I've been very honest with my description.

Any questions I'll gladly answer.

It's ""standard" and "unmolested" yet features wheels which weren't intended of it and coilover suspension?

confused

Yeah I've just read that part back myself.

Was referring to the engine as in no remap or anything like that.

I'll edit that part out.

Cheers [emoji106]

(Well, I was writing this while at work [emoji16])

hi mate. Recently another forum member who had also contributed to this thread sold his very similar specced vrs with less mileage for 2500. Is there a reason why this would be worth more please?

Nah that's cool.

Its a genuine question to ask.

Felt ~3k is what I'd want if i was to sell it.

It is a really good car and in genuinely good condition, with all the history and maintenance on the car.

The other member sold a similar mileage car which I thought was a really good price and wouldn't have any problems selling it.

The difference? Not much..part from them bright blue alloys. Lol

I see Mileage as a number and just that, not anything more.

It isn't really an indicator on the condition of a vehicle. But a lot of people get put off by it.

IMO if a cars been well maintained mileage isnt a factor.
