  1. hello every one and thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. basically it started at a supermarket everything was absolutely fine but pilled in to a parking space as the engine light came on flashing so I turn it off and went in and was gone for about 10-15 minutes and turned the car on and the engine light came on again but it was solid yellow so I revved it up a bit about 3500 rpm and held it for couple of seconds and let it go back down. as it did it felt extremely juddery and it started flashing agagin. so I turned it off for a few minutes and turned it back on and left it to tick over in idle ( engine warning light onagain) after 30 seconds idle became very juddery again. try to limp it home as I was about to pull off it wouldn't rev past 2000 rpm and be juddery below 1000 rpm. I pulled into a staff car park bit turned it off again and a guy came and helped me and as he was revving high it sounded like a tiss-tiss-tiss sound in the engine area and couldn't locate it. anyway he said it seems fine to drive home so I did not letting it drop below 1000 and changing before 2000. has anyone got any idea what this could be? thanks again
  2. hello, I justappreciated looklp with my skoda fabia classic 1.2. basicly the car became undriveable, the epc light is coming on and it was stalling it self and when it does start it revs itself between 1 and 2 thousands rpm and no throttle response. (it did happen before but I was told it was the butterfly valve was sticking so spray it with carb cleaner, did that and it's been fine for months until now :'(....) and it judders whilst driving and seems very limp. I got it scanned today and basically a list of things came up and the bloke who scanned it said I need a new throttle body. Here's two of the codes he write down that came back up straight after resetting 17967 throttle body fault, 17967 throttle activation fault. I need help with this, but I'm stuck. will a new throttle body solve these thing. I know basics but not much else. p.s really wish i did mechanics at school help is much appreciated
  3. sorry but my epc light came on the other day I'm struggling to find out why, the car is jerky when it comes on and it would stall in idle, seems a bit better now(don't stall in idle) but after 5 10 mins of driving it would come on again. I have tried scanner with 20 quid scanner but no code and break lights are fine and had a quick look under bonnet but don't know what I'm looking for, don't know where else to check. please help me if you can thanks
