  1. I think you need to compare the Enyaq 80 with the ID4 First Ed. The things on the ID4 which need to be added on to the Enyaq include: 20 inch wheels (hardly a necessity!), keyless entry, heated windscreen, 125 kW charger, some metallic paint, assisted drive (plus?), USBs in the back. But by going with the ID4, I will get a smaller infotainment display (10 inches vs. 13 inches). The Skoda man has been on the blower today telling me that his order book is open for Enyaqs. I was tempted to call back to see what the lead time is - rumour has it September (probably somewhere above on this thread). As to whether my 24 March date holds true for the ID4 remains to be seen, but I'll happily come back and give impressions of the thing as I am sure the Enyaq will be no different to drive.
  2. And I've done the same. The ID.4 1st Ed works out a better deal than the Enyaq with the necessary options. Still, my Kodiaq got a great trade in price from VW.
  3. The VW man has been on the phone to me today to see if I want an ID.4, they're giving a deposit contribution of £750 on the 1st Edition. Cars available before end March. Time to compare specs... but not yet sold on the looks of the VW vs. the Enyaq.
  4. Nice to see that the manual has instructions for jump starting 🙂
  5. I did take the tape measure out to mine to check.
  6. Thanks for the info. It seems that the driver's side blade is the difficult one to buy. So, perhaps against my better judgement, I bought a pair of rubber refills from Amazon for £8 and will see how they work.
  7. Did you manage to find the part numbers? I've just been searching and best I can find is some repro parts. I'm surprised that Bosch doesn't have a model search page. Anyway, I desperately need a new pair and would rather not line the pockets of the dealers unnecessarily!
  8. None of those affect mine. The only annoyances I can think of are: can't activate Google assistant (voice control) without touching phone when connected over Bluetooth, no gesture control in Android Auto, Columbus voice control is abysmal.
  9. I can visualise the problem now even though I don't suffer it (due to DSG!)
  10. Hmm, perhaps I ought to update my profile. Heated nipples are good in cold weather; you don't have to warm them up before getting some action... from the windscreen washers! Think I have them on the Kodiaq too, but didn't need to add them as on option this time. David
  11. As for the coffee cup space, just slide the top of the arm rest backwards and you'll get two cups in the holders. D
  12. Wow, early next year! I was told 6 months minimum but something strange happened and 6 months became 7 weeks. The 7 weeks happens to end on Monday and I'm looking forward to handing over the Octavia vRS. I wish you the same luck!
  13. 7 week's order to collection :-) Moon White Edition 1.4 DSG with ACC ready for collection on Monday. Ordered on 3 June expecting a 6 month wait. Can't wait!
  14. Lesson: never buy a used car that has park assist. If the driver's not ruined it, the computer will have done.
  15. Ordered my Edition two weeks ago and am told now it's on for build week 26. I'm not taking any bets on that coming true just yet! D.
