the only reason i have asked is i already have a computer fitted to the car which is doing all the multimedia stuff. it currently is connected to the obd port with VCDS Running so i can have gauges etc on the screen in dash and i just wondered rather than retro fitting the cruise if i could just program the ecu to respond to a code from the pc

Strange question time. Does anybody know if it's possible to use a computer attached to the obd port to simulate the cruise control switches therefor removing the requirement to retrofit it?

If memory serves they are the same as a vw lupo sport at least on my vrs, which you can get for around £20 on eBay at least that's what I did rather than pay dealer prices. 111379774292 drivers side, passenger side is 331491393714, or both for £34 111379774224.
