  1. Got mine mixed at Halfords. Ask for F7S and is a good match. Bought a primer pen/brush there too. Think the paint was around a tenner. Used it a good few times unfortunately! Struggle to see where the touch has been....so can recommend.
  2. Anybody know how easy it is to replace the fender flare just under the rear passenger door and over the first part of the wheel arch? Seems like a special tool is needed to undo the old one. Any idea on the cost of buying a replacement? Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi there, Would be interested in the wheel, tool kit and boot mat. How much would you want for each and where are you located in the north west? Regards, Grumpy
  4. Thanks. Appreciate the replies. Will give Halfords a whirl.
  5. Can anybody who bought either the Auto Direct Touch Up Paint or the Halfords Touch Up Pen for the Monte wheels comment on whether they both provide a good match for the wheels? Thanks in advance. Grumpy
  6. No noticeable pulling on my 2014 tech after 3,000 miles and I'm on Dunlops, so obviously not the tyres! As others have implied, think it may well have been an underlying problem that Skoda tried mask with changing the tyres but have now fixed. Would be interested to know whether any owners of late 2013 and 2014 Montes have had any issues with pulling to the left? Shouldn't we be wary of buying used Montes with Continental or Pirelli tyres as this may mean they've had a problem pulling to the left?
  7. Like the Ibiza myself. Just ordered one for other 'alf. Ibiza FR, 1.2 TSI, Metallic paint, 17" alloys, convenience pack and sat nav (not built in) for £11.7k. Good deal I thought. Used Carwow.co.uk to get different dealers to quote a price and got the local dealer to match the cheapest price! Pretty good way of buying a new car and no face to face haggling for those who don't like it. You may want to try Carwow for the new car!
  8. No offence, wouldn't be seen dead in a bog standard fabia (not until I'm over sixty)......but a black monte tech....oh yes! The question is...are you over sixty?!?!
  9. Just had a look on the Skoda website and the Tech now starts at £15,295!! Available it seems on 0% finance. http://www.skoda.co.uk/finance/finance-offers/fabia-monte-carlo-tech Quite a price jump. Makes the £11,800 I paid for mine an even bigger bargain. Not sure they're gonna shift many at this price!!!
  10. Bought the same model with Dunlops on, around 5 weeks ago. Done over a thousand miles and running straight as a die. Asked about adding DAB when I bought mine. Dealer said they knew somebody who could do it for £250! Didn't bother!! Hope this helps.
  11. I'm from the UK and mine worked okay....but don't know why I put it in as it's a 2014 Monte Carlo Tech! Not likely to need an update yet!!
  12. Thanks George. Thought that it was to do with faulty Dunlops, but what you state makes sense. So far so good!
  13. Hi, just bought brand new Tech. Great value and really good drive.....just waiting for the veer to the left!!
