The model is Fabia II (as the forum category). The issue persists from both drivers button and the right button, so from two different switches.

I have an issue with my front right electric window: it works (goes up and goes down) only a few times then it stops responding to commands; after I unplug the cable that enters the motor, wait a few minutes then plug in, it starts to work again. I've replaced the (presumed faulty) motor with another (second hand) motor but the problem persists. What can I do? I've checked the fuses, the buttons and the cables.
