Mine unlocks and locks when it wants like now its working but earlier wasnt , got a feeling its the conveniance unit, dnt think its my fobs as both dnt work then work at the same time. Been told by an auto locksmith to get skoda to sort it as nobody else will have the software to sort it , they will only have software to tell you the issue but not the solution apparently Let me know how you get on with the new fob

Straight to the point I have a 2002 mk1 vrs and the central locking via remote works sometimes and sometimes doesnt The locks are all working when using the key unlock and lock all fine Press the button on the key and nothing happens Both keys stopped working via remote but both work manually Ive checked the connections inside the drivers door and the seem fine no moisture or rust at all No issues with self locking or windows rolling up and down either Only issue is the remotes on the keys wont unlock or lock the car Help a brother out :(

I dont know bud cos its been working for the past couple months since i bought the car then one morning nothing happened with the remote cl then worked for one time with the remote then later the same day nothing again , All locks are opening manually so thts what im living with at the moment

Hi everyone Ive been having problems with the central locking on my car Both fobs have the red light blinking when they are pressed Both keys lock and unlock the car via the drivers door manually But when pressing for remote locking/unlocking nothing happens Tried new batteries/ tried the programming trick with one in the ignition and one in the lock/ even tried giving the door a good thump where the unit is ( apparently sometimes sorts it) Any ideas where to start on this or what it could be? Any help much appreciated guys Thanks

Hi just joined the forum as i am now a proud vrs owner. Mk1 2002 vrs octavia Black 112k miles Fsh Milltek back 1yr mot Had it for all of 4days but already looking after it Just had a full service New vac pipe from manifold to brake servo Need new rear calipers as mine have seized So if you can tell me the best place for them it would be much appreciated (trw pair on enay are £106 delivered) Ps how do i post pics on my iphone to this thread?
