Hmm fuses look fine in the car. Could it be a fuse other than 15?!

Well finally fitted it today with partial success! I've located it behind the glovebox which was easy but my problem is I can't hear anything from the speakers! Let me explain... I took the car apart and connected the unit to test it, it was fine, I put everything in place and it was fine, I put the car back together and it was fine! I went for a longer drive and had a play with streaming mp3 which didn't work. Now the phone won't work either! It's connected and the steering wheel controls work with the phone book. The caller can hear me, but I can't hear them! Could it be coding?

Great idea I'll be getting on this! I'm thinking a very muddy car!

Lol unplugged it all now!! I'll try again tomorrow!

Rear disc is knackered!

Not sure if this is the norm or not?! I bought a Bluetooth unit and loom. I've just taken apart my car and plugged in the new loom and unit but when I turned on my head unit it asked for a 4 digit code. When I plugged the normal wiring back in it didn't ask for a code?! Any ideas?

Morning, I picked up my new car on Friday, it's a 2012 vrs estate (tdi dsg). I've noticed that when braking from higher speeds (70ish ) I can hear a knocking sound from the rear left. It sounds almost as though the ABS is kicking in. Any thoughts as to what this could be? I'll be going back to the dealer next week but if like to go with a bit of knowledge if possible! I have had a look at the disc which doesn't have any obvious marks on it.

Morning, I have taken delivery of my bluetooth unit and am picking up my Octavia vrs (2012) this afternoon! I have read that rather than fitting the bluetooth unit under the seat it can be left in the dash. How have people secured it? Also.... What are the chances of my car being pre wired? I have read that some are? If this is the case will it literally be 'plug and play' for the unit? Thanks! I'm sure I'll have many more questions to come!
