Thank you zee We in India do not have 2.0 litre petrol,we only have 1.8 L TSI. After going through all that is available on the net I think the dsg-7 problem was there in cars manufactured prior to 2011,since then there are not many failures. Vilkswagen has rectified the problem by updating some software in the mechatronic unit and changing the gear oil. Any recent updates please share. -

I am interested in petrol car by the way the 2.0 litre is diesel. It is more expensive. What is the latest on 7 speed dsg gear box. Volkseagen says it has resolved the problem. Does anybody know more about it. -
Pleade let me know whether skoda and has resolved its problems with seven speed dsg. Thanks
