Rims are actually Audi A3 alloys (8P0601025A 205/55 R16), with the VAG 5x112 pattern, so will fit some Skoda models. Mine were on my Octavia MkIII before I sold it, used them in the winter to protect my good alloys. Tyres are Pirelli Cinturato P7 (205/55 R16) with decent amount of tread left (more on the rears than the fronts) - tread depth shown in pics. Generally good condition with a few superficial scratches/marks (that have been touched-up, so no bare metal), as shown in pics. I tried to get representative shots of the blemishes but somehow made them look worse than they are in real life 🙄 One of the rims (wheel 3 iirc) is more or less perfect condition. £120 for the set. NOW SOLD!

To be fair the OP didn't ever ask "what people thought", was just showing people what he's done. If people don't have anything positive to say then don't say anything. There's nothing to be gained from saying "I see what you've done and I don't like it". Who cares if you don't like it. I'm always interested to see what people do to mod their cars, some I like some I don't. If I don't, I just move on, simples.

Not so ... 75 mpg for me on an "Eco" run

I think its fair to assume that if it's noisy on the outside it's going to be noisy on the inside, as general rule.

Ha, yes, I did consider those but went with better stopping power, grip etc. in the end. I do a 90 mile daily commute on the road of death aka A34 in Oxfordshire. Actually looking the spec of the Ecoruns they are the same "E" rating as the Azenis (E, A, 69db), so maybe not that much better in terms of mpg.

The only "negative" thing is that my mpg has dropped off by about -5 from ~60mpg to ~55mpg on a motorway run in this cold weather. I knew that would be the case given the Eco rating (E) compared to the Pirellis (C). Prefer the extra grip/better braking over a few quid though.

They've got good reviews and got them from pneus-online for £60 quid a corner (delivered). Recommend both the tyres and the website. Like I said night and day in terms of road noise, just hope they wear well.
