hi all anybody have problem with steering wheel light comes on when starting sometimes stays on switch off start and it stays off. could it be sensor any ideas please

My light on my TDI comes on at times when starting from cold as i drive off but still have power next junction or lights I switch off, turn key light goes out all OK, just learnt to live with it, sounds like it could well be sensor ? Peter your right what you state, there is talk that this may change soon. On the subject of the MOT, just having the light on is not a fail, the PAS not working at all is but if the light is on and there is some assistance it should pass.

Peter right about MOT i am tester also i have similar problem, switch on light stays on switch off and usualy light stays off i suspect sensor many a cause of warning lights but best to check if not sure.

can anyone help old doderer bought fabia tdi no manual in it only service book, had to disconect battery now lost code would like to keep it original help please...?
