Sorry only just seen this my car had done about 83k when I had it done.

I had the same problem last year, aircon started been intermittent. So I went with the process of immolation, cheapest part first. Went for a regas and they stopped straight away and said the pressure is way too high you must have a blockage and we cant do anything. So looked into it and the compressor had packed in, similar to yours mine was 9 years old.had it replaced about £160 all in and its ice cold. My father in law owns a spares shop so I get every thing at cost. Another is the pressure switch to look out for, if there's no gas, they are known for leaking and are only £17 from Euro car parts. They are easy to change if you have the tools and are the same as the Mk5 golf,Audi A3 and the SEAT Leon.

Thanks for that, brilliant bit of information 👍

Looks like they are steel as the magnet stuck. So that's good news for my plans. Cheers buddy, can't believe I didn't think of that earlier 🤦♂️

Haha, never thought of that to be honest. Looks like I'll be getting the wheel off tonight then. 👍

I've done a lot of searching and can't find the answer I'm looking for, so thought I'd ask. I have a 10 plate estate and I'm just wondering if they have a steel front knuckle or a ally one? Cheers in advance.

Thanks, I do understand that it is a stretched out version I'm just trying to find hard evidence that the brake kits that are available for the Golf and octavia are compatible with the superb. I'm 99% sure at the moment, as I've cross referenced brake disc for the V6 superb and S3 and they are the same in every way. Getting closer boys.

Brilliant, is your car a facelift? As mine is a pre facelift and I don't know wether the 4 arm wheels are the same? -
Sorry to dig up a old thread but I've been looking for answers along these lines. As they share the "same" platform does this also include front his set ups and brakes? As when I bought my coilovers they gent I spoke to said that that set up fits over 400 different cars and the only reason I asked was because fit actully said seat Leon on the Bilstein box.

Love that steering wheel. What is it out of? Wouldn't mind one of them for mine, is it a direct fit? -
Price reduced to £135 could do with these out of the way now.
